About Me

Hi, I'm Rebecca

I know how important it is to find the right practitioner for you so I wanted to share a bit about me here along with details of my qualifications and training.  If you'd like to have a chat or if you have any questions before you book then please do get in touch, I'd be delighted to speak to you!

 

I discovered acupuncture whilst I was trying to conceive my first child and was immediately hooked!  After having my second child, I chose to take a step back from my corporate career and re-train and acupuncture was the obvious choice for me.

I'm passionate about delivering the highest quality, most effective treatments to my patients by combining ancient eastern wisdom with a modern understanding of health and well-being.  Whilst I enjoy treating all conditions, I've chosen to specialise in women's health, fertility and mental and emotional well-being.  I've undertaken advanced level training in both natural and assisted fertility and obstetrics acupuncture.  Acupuncture and holistic healthcare is such a vast subject and we're constantly discovering new and exciting things which is why continuous learning and professional development is such an important part of our profession.

Qualifications & Training

Acupuncture

  • BSc (Hons) degree (first class) in Acupuncture from the prestigious Northern College of Acupuncture.  My training included traditional Chinese medicine, western biomedicine, anatomy and physiology, women's health, fertility, scalp acupuncture, oncology acupuncture, electro acupuncture, cupping, gua sha and much more

  • Training with world renowned Dr Tan on Balance Method acupuncture, particularly effective for painful conditions

  • Enhanced training on auricular acupuncture with NADA GB

  • Battlefield acupuncture for pain relief

Fertility & Women's Health

  • Post graduate training with The Fertility Acupuncture Academy on Fertility Acupuncture for Assisted Conception

  • Post graduate training on Fertility Acupuncture for Natural Conception 

  • Obstetrics Acupuncture and post natal advanced training 

Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture

  • Facial Enhance training on facial Gua Sha and acupressure massage
